The Way I See It:

We send our children to public schools to receive an "education".

I’m not saying that all schools are like this, but for the most part, in this modern education system, our children are taught that they are not created by a Divine act of a loving God.  Instead, they are led to believe that humans come from primordial soup and are the descendents of apes – mere evolved animals.
They are trained not to believe in One Truth, but to entertain and embrace all opinions/ideas/theories for nothing is absolute.
They are not told the objective of life is to fulfill a Divine plan and purpose, but that we are a pluralistic society of individuals attempting to discover their personal paths to inner enlightenment.
They are not encouraged in what they should or should not do, but instead they are persuaded to experiment with expressing themselves intellectually, verbally, physically and sexually.
They are led to believe that morality doesn’t exist except in the confines of respecting the rights of those who choose to be immoral.
And each hour of every day they are permitted to possess, and their minds are fed from, electronic devices that access an innumerable amount of information from the entire world.

We took the “offensive” Bible out of schools.  We replaced the Truth with scientific, psychological and spiritual theories.  Then we removed prayer so as not to insult someone who may not pray to our God.  Then we eliminated the “one nation under God” from the Pledge of Allegiance, so as not to offend other religions.
For thirteen years our children are taught that they are individual animals, left to themselves to determine who they will be and what they will become.  Without clear definition of right and wrong, they’re free and persuaded to think and say and do whatever they feel at any given moment.  They’re encouraged to appease their animalistic desires and whims as the school will support them with free condoms and various forms of birth control and counseling.

Then we wonder why our schools have become so much more violent today.

I pray for the families who suffered such needless and senseless loss at the school shooting in Ohio.  I pray for the teens still in the hospital suffering gunshot wounds from a confused, crazed, armed student.  I pray for the staff and faculty of the school and the teenagers who are traumatized by this horrific event.  And I pray that somehow, someway, the education systems of our country would return to God and HIS Will for the children that He’s entrusted to our care.
